THE MOMENT THAT CHANGED EVERYTHING

The Six Who Saw What the World Ignored

Six directors — Chandrashekar Bagewadi, Deepak Patil, Nagaraj Yeligar, Girish Nalawadi, Vijaykumar Guddad, and Shankar Koliwad — were on a simple highway ride, the kind meant for a break from life. But life had other plans. On that road, they saw a farmer standing beside his harvest — onions he had grown with months of sweat and borrowed hope — and he was throwing them one by one onto the asphalt. Not in anger. Not in protest. But in a silence so heavy it felt louder than any shout. It was the silence of a man who had calculated the cost of going to the market and realized it was cheaper to give up.

The six men stopped. And in that moment, they weren’t directors from different industries — paint, electricals, marble, development, fertilizers. They were sons of farmers, pulled back into a memory they all knew too well: the helplessness of growing something the world refuses to value. That moment broke something in them… and built something new. A question rose inside all six at once — not spoken, but understood.

From that roadside silence, Nelva was born.
Not as a company, not as a project, but as a promise — a promise to make sure a farmer never has to watch the value of his effort die on the road again.

WHO ARE WE

Nelva did not grow from the vision of six directors alone. Their moment on that highway was only the spark — but the fire belongs to thousands. Nelva is shaped by farmers who refuse to give up, by youth who choose to stay rooted, by labourers who carry the weight of seasons, and by communities that believe dignity should never be negotiable. Our family is far bigger than anyone imagines; it is every hand that tills the soil, every mind that builds solutions, and every heart that believes the farmer deserves more than survival — they deserve identity, value, and a voice.

We are the Voice Born From the Soil

We speak for those whose stories were unheard for decades.

We Stand With the Farmer

Not above, not ahead — always beside the farmer’s effort.

Bridge Between
